FUTUROPOLIS 2044 – Resort Africana

Our second competition, “Resort Africana,” invited participants to design a mini-resort that celebrated indigenous culture through architecture. The challenge was to create a space that authentically embodied the essence of a specific cultural community, prioritizing indigenous architectural elements over Western influences. The aim was to craft a resort that not only showcased the traditions and heritage of the chosen culture but also offered an immersive experience for visitors. With a focus on cultural representation, the resort was to blend traditional design with modern amenities, fostering tourism while promoting an authentic cultural experience.
